Announcement: 11^th Annual Meeting

Friday 15th October has been chosen for the 2010 Annual Meeting of the UK Alexander von Humboldt Association. The event will take place in the German Ambassador's Residence in London at 21-23 Belgrave Square and be followed by a reception hosted by the Ambassador. Lunch will be provided.

The programme is currently being arranged and we would be pleased to hear from any Humboldtians who would like to give a talk about their work. This should be a 20 minute presentation suitable for a lay audience and not too specialist. If you are interested, please send a short abstract (half a page) to the Honorary Treasurer, Dr James Wilton-Ely (j.wilton-ely [at] imperial.ac.uk).

There is a £15 contribution to cover costs associated with the meeting. This can be paid by cheque or online bank transfer (details provided on registration). Please make cheques payable to the 'UK Alexander von Humboldt Association' and send them to Dr James Wilton-Ely at the Department of Chemistry, Imperial College London, London SW7 2AZ. Once your cheque or online transfer has been received, you will be sent an acknowledgment e-mail and your name will be added to the list of attendees.
